Aura Sinthesy

The Project

Aura Synthesi is a musical project born from the desire to explore and highlight the connection between seemingly heterogeneous elements, blending past and present in an intimate and refined sonic dialogue. The name itself, which combines the concept of "aura" as "air in motion" with "synthesis" as "composition," reflects the duo's tension toward harmony that embraces differences.

The creation of Aura Synthesi is the result of intense and creative collaboration, a continuous dialogue between the musical visions of its members, guided by the desire to explore their musical roots and chart new directions. Their search for synthesis is not just a stylistic exercise but a journey that pushes them to navigate through complexity, seeking a direction that gives meaning to their sonic universe.

Aura Synthesi's musical exploration draws from a diverse repertoire, spanning distant places and centuries, to build an expressive language that enhances the simplicity and timbral intimacy of the duo, consisting of voice and electric guitar. These two instruments merge in a dialogue that highlights each of their nuances, revealing a wide and surprising expressive potential.

The repertoire ranges from original compositions to the musical traditions of Southern Italy, including arrangements of famous composers like Antonio Vivaldi and Frederic Mompou, and extending to contemporary singer-songwriters such as Luigi Tenco and Fabrizio De Andrè. All of this merges with the original creations of the project's members, offering a musical journey that resonates with depth and authenticity.
